This is the Digiplay version of the "Space Armada" Intellivision game. The Mattel version was one of first games for this platform while growing up. It is similar to "Space Invaders" in game play. The Digiplay version has Portuguese text with an English title. The title is a thin, blocky type text which is unlike the Mattel version. This game was very common among Digiplay games in South America.

     The cart label for "Space Armada" is quite unremarkable, with plain text.  It is very different from the style of Digiplay games like "Space Battle". The box has the same artwork as the Mattel version.

     The instructions for this game look somewhat like the box except for the text. I have found two different sets of overlays for this Digiplay game. The first is the paper version. It is a type of laminated paper with Brazilian Portuguese text. It also is combined with English text....weird! The upper text on the overlay is in Portuguese, while the lower buttons like clear, enter, & move laser are in English.  Digiplay made overlays like this early in their campaign. They later went to the second type which are entirely in English. They have no copyright, and are printed on a thin type of plastic.
