This is the "Beamrider" game produced by Digiplay.  It is yet, another game originally developed by Activision. The box is different than the Activision, in that it is a book style like the original Mattel titles. The artwork is pretty much the same. Box features include Brazilian Portuguese & English text. This game can also be played on both PAL & 120 volt systems.

     The cart label for this game is made in the Mattel style shell, unlike the original Activision game.  This style cart is the same for all Digiplay games produced. The label is in white text with green background to match the box & instructions.

     The instruction artwork for this game is the same as that on the box. The text for the instructions is in Brazilian Portuguese.  I have found two different overlays for this Digiplay game.  The first is an Activision overlay with the part number missing.  This is a common late overlay for the Activision games produced by Digiplay.  The other is a rarer version that is made up of a thinner plastic.  In addition, it does not have any Activision copyright or part number.
