Overlay:  Auto Racing Mattel original (White Outlined) version overlay Item Number: 1113-4289  Copyrights:  Mattel Inc. 1980.  Printed in U.S.A. Description:  The original overlay for Auto Racing had a white outline around the border of the heading at the top. In addition, there was an error in printing. The black color was missing from behind the right front tire.	Overlay:  Auto Racing Mattel original (Revised) version overlay Item Number: 1113-4289  Copyrights:  Mattel Inc. 1980.  Printed in U.S.A. Description:  The revised version of the Auto Racing overlay has the right front wheel error fixed, but adds a new error.  The red background is missing from the side of the left front tire. The item numbers are the same. It was made without a white outline around the border of the heading.	Overlay:  Auto Racing Mattel (G1) version overlay Item Number: 1113-4289-G1  Copyrights:  Mattel Inc. 1980.  Printed in U.S.A. Description:  The Black background color returns in the G1 version of this overlay. Interesting how it looks similar to the original, minus the white outline around the heading. This version seems to have been done with a darker tint ink.
Overlay:  Auto Racing Digimed version overlay Item Number: None  Copyrights:  Mattel  Inc. 1980. Description:  The Digimed overlays were made on a paper product, laminated with a thin plastic. These have been made in a combination of English, and Brazilian Portuguese text.  Funny,... even the Digiplay people made a printing mistake.  The shadow of the car is yellow, not black, on the inside of the left front tire!	Overlay:  Auto Racing Mattel (Yellow Paper) version overlay Item Number: 1113  Copyrights:  None Description:  When Intellivision Inc. wanted to cut costs, they figured they would do so with the overlays of their games. They switched from the regular plastic overlays to a lame 2-toned paper one. These were printed in blue & yellow, on a thin cardboard paper. It wasn't long after this when they did away with overlays all together. The Yellow overlays are the rarest of the Intellivision overlays.	Overlay:  Auto Racing Mattel original (no flaws) version overlay Item Number: 1113-4289-G1  Copyrights:  Mattel Inc. 1980.  Printed in U.S.A. Description:  This version of the original Mattel overlay for Auto Racing boasts no flaws on the race car. All of the background color has been fixed. Notice that the red & black background is filled in at the front of the car. Good Job Mattel!
Overlay:  Auto Racing Mattel  (G1) (GM) version overlay Item Number: 1113-4289-G1  Copyrights:  Mattel Inc. 1980.  Printed in U.S.A. Description:  The (GM) version of the Auto Racing overlay is by far the best. It is made much like the Imagic overlays, & seems to last forever. The front has a texture to it, unlike other Mattel overlays. It can be set apart by the "GM" in the lower right corner.	Overlay:  Auto Racing Mattel  (No Copyright) version overlay Item Number: 1113-4289-G1  Copyrights: None Description:  If you are lucky, you will find a set of plastic overlays in your Intellivision Inc. Auto Racing game.  The copyrights of Mattel are completely eliminated from them. They still have the item number in the G1 version.
